Because the guide was written before the FFS became popular, it'll be updated soon.

You can if you're a mesmer/monk 55'er! Fast casting
Decent thread, although for the nec build post above, you'd be better off reading Preacher's thread and developing a build from the counterposts than from using his build...

Quick question -- completed my first smite run (w/a guilde SS/SV), and only big issue was the nightmares that spawn. Does spellbreaker protect me from them, or must I be ready to wand immediately? Didn't seem like spellbreaker stopped them from stripping everything.

Just a few little questions from a prospective 55 monk:
My friend will be running an SS/SV necro for most of my runs.
For possible elites to switch into, I'm not sure about what to use/when.
Shield of Judgement: For when I'm not fighting any casters/things that strip my enchantments?
Spellbreaker: Exclusively for enchantment renders?
Mantra of Recall: no clue...maybe for the same purpose of SoJ?
Order of Blood: Is it workable for a 55 monk?
I really have no clue what elite I should run with SS/SV necro...
I'm a 55 monk and a boon/prot monk (you get the picture...boon/prot to 20, 55 farm for fun and cash).
If I have to go through a zone with enchantment rending people would it be better to 55 monk through with SB or just walk through with max hp using 55 skills?
I just need some advice here...

To Bloodied Blade:
If you are to venture the Underworld with a necromancer partner, I'd strongly advise you to make Spellbreaker your elite of choice. Sure, Shield of Judgment speeds up the damage rate between both of you, but it leaves you vulnerable to Rend Enchantments, therefore not really worth it.
As for mantra of Recall and Order of Blood, they both need your secondary class to be a non-warrior, leaving Bonnetti's defence out of the skillbar. Bonneti's has saved my life many many times against 10+ smites, and really should be a must have.
Do your partner a favor, bring the spellbreaker for all Underworld runs involving an SS/SV partner. ^^

Well, I see how you'd think that the +5 armor would help you while you're casting, Gordohand. But don't forget, with Protective Spirit on with 55 health, you will most likely be taking 5 damage ALL the time. The damage you take is reduced to 10% of your health, and the defence will not help at all when it comes to tanking.

Opeth beat me to it...
Extra armor won't reduce damage in a 55 build (though I guess you could bring Shielding Hands somehow and reduce all incoming damage to 0 for a while)

Lemme answer some questions here.
1 - Armor level doesn't matter, you could have 200 armor or 0 armor and you'll still take 5 damage per hit.
2 - Spellbreakers speeds up runs great, and is MUCH more secure. It allows you to take big aggros, take on dryders and take on many coldfires/coldfires+smites at once.
3 - Shielding Hands reduces the damage before protective spirit is counted into account.
Come on guys, that kind of stuff is ALL mentioned in the guide, which I wrote exactly to clarify such questions...

Thank you so much cerb! Ive been wanting to do this run for a long time, but I wasnt ascended on my monk (Thirsty River is a real bitch) but I finally did it. Today I went to UW for the first time ever for a smite run (according to your guide) and thanks to you, it was succesful. We got 4 ectos (3 of them dropped within the first 10 minutes ) and my SS/SV necro friend got a rare Storm Bow. Once again thank you so much!!!
